OECD Government Foresight Community Annual Meeting Report 2020

The OECD Government Foresight Community (GFC) brings together experienced strategic foresight practitioners in the public sector from countries and international organisations around the world. It aims to strengthen foresight capacity by drawing on collective experience and bringing combined future insights to bear on key issues of our times. 2020 marked the seventh annual meeting of the GFC. The theme for this year’s meeting was many voices, one message. This reflects the importance of including a diversity of voices and perspectives in the conception and practice of good foresight. It also recognises – in a world that needs foresight more than ever, and where resources for achieving the state of the art in foresight are stretched – an increased need for GFC members to co-ordinate and combine their efforts on issues of joint concern.
